Homeschool Banquet

I almost forgot about these! silly me. ;)

Some family friends I know hosted a homeschool banquet in May. It was a blast! I had a lot of fun preparing what I was going to wear. I wore a vintage fifties gown and red velvet boots. (pure love!) The dress was a little tight on the shoulders, but I managed. I added lace to the shoulders and ribbon around the waist.

Pierce Island Adventures

My brothers and their friends played along the shore.

I also spent time with my dear friends as well.

This was an interesting statue...I say interesting because it was basically a woman who was wearing a dress, holding a child in her arms and doing an arabesque-like pose on a rock. There was a plaque on it that said something similar to, "For those who came to find a new life." Like I said, interesting...but very cool.
